Alpha Rho Lambda was founded on the principles of excelling as individuals by striving to reach the highest levels of academic achievement, working toward the betterment of our communities and their members, and establishing a support network of sisterhood that extends beyond the college years.

For over a decade, we’ve attracted women who are committed to Alpha Rho Lambda’s tenets.  Our founders have joyfully observed that the organization they initially envisioned as a group for themselves has had a more long lasting and far reaching effect than they ever imagined.  With undergraduate and alumnae Hermanas on more than 15 campuses across the country, we continue to make available the services our founders set out to provide, while addressing the needs of specific campuses.
